Q'ero Alpaca Project

VCF understands the Q’ero villages are still in need for assistance with internal and external parasites for their herds of 6,000 alpaca, llama and sheep. 

Since 1995, VCF has provided annual medication for the treatment of parasites for these animals. This has improved wool quality, increased reproduction rate and yielded higher meat quality.

In 2008 VCF plans to once again provide parasite medications for the Q’ero herds.
